Ayman Karadsheh is a values-driven HR and strategic talent leader with over 20 years of experience in HR strategy, talent acquisition, and workforce operations across diverse industries. As Vice President and Head of Talent Acquisition at Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL), one of the UAE’s largest aviation and defense MRO organizations, he is the driving force behind a bold 2024 vision he set for himself and GAL: to transform GAL’s Talent Acquisition function into a true global powerhouse.
In 2024, Ayman set out to redesign GAL’s Talent Acquisition Division into one of the largest and most specialized aviation and defense recruitment engines in the region and beyond. Under his leadership, GAL is building a truly global team of 45+ talent professionals from 14 different nationalities, united around a single mission: supporting the hiring of 900+ positions per year across more than 47 types of rotary and fixed-wing aircrafts.

This ambitious vision is not just about scale—it is about elevating Talent Acquisition into a strategic partner that can sustain complex, high-volume, and mission-critical talent needs for the aviation and defense sector.
At the heart of this transformation is Ayman’s people-centric leadership. He believes that world-class talent outcomes start with a world-class Talent Acquisition team—one that feels seen, valued, and trusted. At GAL, he is known for creating a culture where his TA professionals are recognized as strategic advisors, not just recruiters. He invests heavily in their growth through coaching, mentorship, and exposure to senior stakeholders.

Ayman places strong emphasis on recognition—both formal and informal. He makes it a point to celebrate individual and team achievements, whether it’s closing a critical hire, hitting the monthly hiring targets, or improving candidate experience. From regular shout-outs and appreciation moments in team forums to highlighting TA contributions at leadership level, he consistently advocates for his team’s impact to be visible across the organization. This focus on valuing people has helped build a cohesive, high-performing Talent Acquisition community at GAL, where collaboration, ownership, and pride in mission are core to how the team operates.
By positioning GAL Talent Acquisition as a global center of excellence, Ayman is reshaping how the organization attracts, assesses, and secures specialized manpower for the aviation and defense industry across the region. His strategy integrates data, technology, and global sourcing with deep industry understanding, ensuring that every hiring decision supports operational readiness, safety, and long-term capability building—while also ensuring that the TA professionals behind these decisions feel empowered and recognized for their contribution.

Throughout his career, Ayman has consistently demonstrated expertise in strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, and HR operations, working closely with C-suite leaders to align people strategy with business goals. During his tenure at Mubadala, he led talent acquisition and workforce planning across 23 assets, successfully delivering critical projects on time, within budget, and with measurable impact.
He was also one of the first HR leaders involved in building Strata Manufacturing (www.strata.ae), playing a foundational role in shaping its workforce strategy and laying the HR groundwork for a world-class aerospace manufacturing operation in Al Ain. His ability to foster collaboration and build strong partnerships was further recognized when he was nominated for Mubadala’s Partnership Award, underscoring his influence as a connector and strategic partner across the group.

Known for cultivating trusted relationships with executives, Ayman excels in change management, organizational transformation, and solving complex business challenges through analytics. His leadership is grounded in empathy, partnership, integrity, accountability, and innovation—qualities that enable him to build resilient, future-ready teams. Within GAL’s Talent Acquisition function, this translates into a leadership style where people are encouraged to bring ideas, challenge the status quo, and take ownership, knowing that their contributions will be supported, recognized, and celebrated.
Ayman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Western Michigan University and is a proud holder of the UAE Golden Visa—reflecting his significant contribution to the country’s strategic talent and workforce agenda.
The Spotlight Magazine proudly recognizes Ayman Sami Karadsheh as one of the Top 100 leaders in the GCC—celebrating not only his values-driven leadership and commitment to recognizing and elevating his people, but also his vision to build one of the UAE’s most capable aviation and defense Talent Acquisition teams, redefining what strategic hiring looks like.
