Sumayya has made notable contributions in various roles, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to excellence.
She has worked with various international governments and has been instrumental in fostering educational and exchange programs, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration. She has also served grants and financing of thousands of dollars projects.
Prior to her current work in international development, Sumayya made a significant impact as the Assistant Manager of Volunteers Programs at The Citizens Foundation. In this role, she led the “Rahbar” mentoring program, achieving impressive targets in character development for 8th graders. She also managed summer camps in major cities, focusing on English, Health & Hygiene, Arts & Crafts, and Sports.
As a Member of the Advisory Board at Shajar-e-Umeed Consultancy, Sumayya provided strategic advice for marketing management and funding. She also led a team of students in social entrepreneurship and oversaw a complete makeover of Sultan Bahoo High School for Girls. Additionally, she created and maintained the organization’s Facebook presence and launched its website. During her time as an Intern, Project Associate & Digital Media Marketer at Kaarvan Crafts Foundation, Sumayya designed and maintained a strong social media presence and assisted in annual documentation.
While serving as the Head of Talent Management at the Old Students Association of FAST (OSAF), Sumayya managed the OSAF team, collaborated with over 50 companies for job fairs, and served as a content writer and digital marketer for Homecoming events. Her experience as an Intern at Descon Integrated Projects Limited (DIPL) provided her with valuable insights into the implementation of a computerized appraisal system, coordination of VC interviews, and preparation of online notices and newsletters.
Projects
Sumayya’s project experience is equally impressive. She has constructed a detailed customer profile of foreign tourists in Pakistan and a video advertisement based on their psychographics for the Destinations – Pakistani Tourism (Global Marketing Project). She authored a detailed report on Nishat’s recruitment, selection, hiring, and appraisal processes for the Nishat Mills Ltd. (Human Resource Management Project). For the Oporto Launch in Canada (International Business Project), she launched an Australian food chain brand in Canada, conducting a complete industrial, cultural, economic, environmental, ethical, political, and legal analysis.
