With over two decades of experience spanning Information Security and IT Operations, Mohammed’s leadership covers all major pillars of cybersecurity — including Security Operations Centers (SOC), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Security Infrastructure, Network Security, Data Privacy, Security Applications, and Cloud Security. His holistic approach ensures that every security domain aligns seamlessly with business continuity and national objectives.

Before joining MEEZA, Mohammed built his expertise through key roles at Ooredoo Qatar, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), and Milaha. This diverse foundation gave him a unique perspective on how to blend security with operational excellence at both enterprise and national levels.

As Director of IT Operations at MEEZA, Mohammed led a team of more than 150 professionals across IT and security functions — driving world-class service delivery based on ITIL v4 best practices. His leadership spanned the full service lifecycle, from strategic planning and architecture design to implementation, optimization, and operations management.

Under his direction, MEEZA developed and executed a comprehensive security strategy that positioned the company as a trusted cybersecurity partner for critical sectors in Qatar. Through his strategic initiatives, MEEZA successfully won multiple national security projects for 2024 and 2025 and achieved first place in the National Cybersecurity Drill “Zero Hour” for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024) — a prestigious recognition from the National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA).

Mohammed’s academic foundation is equally impressive. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Derby and a Professional Diploma in AI Engineering from Qatar University. Recently, he earned his MBA from the University of Aberdeen, further enhancing his strategic, managerial, and leadership capabilities. His professional certifications include CISM, ITILv4, OSA, and Cybercrime Prevention Specialist, and he is recognized as an accredited expert in Technology and Information Security by Qatar’s Ministry of Justice.
