After earning her BSc in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and successfully completing the rigorous Part-66 B1.1 modules, Malaak graduated in 2022—a milestone that marked the start of her professional journey from the classroom to the heart of Oman’s skies. Her career began at Oman Air Engineering, where she joined as a trainee supporting the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO). There, she played a vital role in maintaining the fleet’s airworthiness and gained invaluable insight into operational compliance and the technical backbone of aviation safety.
Driven by a passion for upholding the highest standards, Malaak advanced to SalamAir’s Quality Assurance Department as a trainee auditor. In this role, she is immersed in the world of maintenance and engineering audits, participating in both internal and external assessments. Her responsibilities include ensuring that contracted organizations remain compliant with Oman Civil Aviation Authority regulations and SalamAir’s stringent internal policies. This hands-on exposure to the regulatory landscape has given her a deep appreciation for the importance of continuous oversight and the critical role quality systems play in aviation.
