Tarek El Masry is a seasoned hospitality executive with extensive experience across hotel operations, revenue management, front office, rooms division, and general management. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at ADD Properties, Egypt.

From Hotel Operations to Executive Leadership
El Masry began his hospitality career at Sheraton Cairo, progressing through front-office and management roles before joining Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel. Over several years, he advanced from Revenue & Front Office Manager to Rooms Division Manager, Executive Assistant Manager, and Hotel Manager.
His experience at Steigenberger included responsibility for front office, housekeeping, reservations, revenue, e-commerce, budgeting, forecasting, staff development, and guest satisfaction.

Expanding Leadership Across Hospitality
El Masry later served as Director of Operations at ALDAU for Hotels & Touristic Projects Management and General Manager at Hyatt Regency, broadening his leadership across hotel operations and business performance.
In 2023, he moved into senior corporate leadership with ALDAU Development, serving as Corporate Director of Operations & General Manager before becoming Chief Operating Officer.

Since January 2023, El Masry has served as Chief Operating Officer at ADD Properties, bringing decades of hands-on hospitality and executive management experience to his role.
His expertise spans hotel operations, front office, revenue management, guest experience, team leadership, and operational strategy, complemented by his growing focus on Generative AI Strategy and Execution.
Education and Professional Development
El Masry holds a degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management and has completed professional programs in Hotel Revenue Management, Food & Beverage Management, and Hospitality Management. In 2026, he completed Generative AI Strategy and Execution at Harvard Business School.
