Karim Amin has served as a Member of the Executive Board of Siemens Energy since March 2022, while also holding the position of Executive Vice President, Generation since April 2020. Based in the United Arab Emirates, his career reflects more than two decades of progressive leadership across the energy industry.
His expertise spans new business development, cross-functional team leadership, and power generation, supported by extensive experience managing complex regional and global operations.
A Career Built Across Energy Markets
Amin spent more than 19 years with Siemens, progressing through increasingly senior roles. His positions included CEO Power Generation – Gas & Power, CEO Global Sales – Power & Gas, Senior Executive Vice President Power & Gas, and Global CEO Oil & Gas.
Earlier in his Siemens career, he served as Senior VP Energy Service for Africa & Middle East and Regional Director Middle East. In the latter role, he held P&L responsibility while leading a team of more than 30 members across 17 countries and an annual business volume exceeding €600 million.
